We stayed in a secluded, self-catering cabin on the north side of Kirkjufell. The day we arrived was quite windy and cloudy, which lent itself well to Black & White images. The location was great because it was a side of Kirkjufell not often photographed, most people set up near the waterfalls on the other side of the mountain, because it is much closer to the main road.
